Pethouse is an online pet store. Despite russia's full-scale invasion, they didn't shut down and continued working. What's more, they remained one of the few places to buy essentials for pets during the first weeks of the war.
BACKGROUND
Since the war broke out, the store employees have eyewitnessed myriad heart-rendering stories of pet parents and their incredible acts of humanity. These real-life heroes took animals to bomb shelters and calmed them down during shellings and shootings.
They left their homes in a hurry, abandoning their documents but not their furry friends. They rescued and took home pets who suffered in war zones. Unfortunately, these stories are unlikely to go down in history. That's why Pethouse decided to glorify pet parents' incredible humanity themselves.
PEOPLE WHO BECAME EVEN MORE HUMAN DURING THE WARTIME
We came up with the idea of a brand film, telling stories of people who «became even more human during the wartime».
We used the subjective camera technique to show the story from an unusual angle.
This enabled viewers to see the war through the pet's eyes.
The end of the video pulls back the curtain on Penthouse's inner workings. We see employees continue doing what they're best at, no matter the circumstances, because they're truly honored to serve such wonderful people and their furry friends.
